In Loving Memory of these precious blessings
Life does not come with a promise of tomorrow. There are no warranties or refunds. Each day that we are given is a blessing. Sometimes there are unseen forces at work that try to take our lives from us and the only safe place to be is saved. We never know for sure when our time on this earth will end; but what we do know for sure is that we all have the power to choose how we live each day. In Joshua 24:15 it says, "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
Matthew 25:1-13 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Pastor Fred Kelly
Our beloved pastor, who spent his whole life in dedication to the Lord, was honored not only by the state of Georgia but also by the city of Peachtree Corners. He was a man who lived an exemplary life following the footsteps of Jesus. He transformed cities and made a difference in so many lives all over the world. He was truly a man of God and a leader who led with unfailing honor. He loved abundantly and gave generously, all seventy-five years of his blessed life. The impact he made in this world is forever unwavering. Pastor Fred Kelly will never be forgotten.
In Loving Memory of Kayla Serrano and Andre Mclean.
These two were phenomenal people who lived with incredible love for not only their family but also for everyone that they met. They touched all of our lives and will continue to leave a legacy in our hearts and souls forever. The love that they gave is the Love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
In Loving Memory of Rick Menzemer.
In Loving Memory of Rick Menzemer, who was a great man and a loving and faithful friend. He spent his time in service to the Lord and was always so faithful and true. He loved everyone and set a great example of how to be a man of God. He loved well and was a man fully loved and appreciated. Rick Menzemer will be greatly missed.
In Loving Memory of Augustine Cabral.
We are so sad to report that Brother Augustine Cabral, who had been our chief Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker, has died of an apparent heart attack. He was loved and will be missed but we are thankful for the time that we were given with him. He had a generous heart and an outgoing personality. He never failed to make a difference in all of our lives or to put a smile on any sad face.
In Loving Memory of Phyllis Young.
In Loving Memory of Elder Fred Prewitt.
In Loving Memory of Elder Morey Arnold.
Morey Arnold was such a wonderful and loving man of God. God is with him in Heaven saying, "Well done my good and faithful servant, my friend, and my child. You have done so much for the sake of my children and now it is your turn to have rest." Morey never let a day go by where he wasn't doing something for God. He was so faithful and so generous with his every moment. He is an example that we should all desire to follow.
In Loving Memory of Jonathan Newton.
I am sad to announce that Jonathan Newton, age 39, died on Tuesday, December 11. Jonathan and his mother Gloria were dear friends and frequent attenders at Landmark. Jonathan was just at our Christmas party last Saturday (that's where the above photograph was taken). Jonathan was a believer in Jesus, so we have the assurance that he is in heaven. "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the LORD." (2 Corinthians 5:8)
Please keep Jonathan's family in your prayers.
Thank you and God bless you.
