“Go Ye Into All The World And Preach The Gospel To Every Creature” Psalm 34:17
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
We have begun helping people on the Mosquito Coast of Nicaragua. To go there, the last part of the trip is by motor boat. The people live in shacks and dire poverty. Land has been donated for the church and we hope to be able to purchase building materials for them. This area is wide open for the gospel. We have carried tracts and Bibles there. We will carry more, hoping and trusting God for more converts. The people there are very open to the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are not many Christians in this area. This is an open field for the gospel.
In the U.S there is an abundance of tractors and trucks for farm work. Where we minister, there is an abundance of oxen and carts. Our Christian friends had an ox cart loaded with green bananas to be sold. The load was so heavy that it became stuck in the mud. They brought in another team of oxen to help free the cart and pull it up the muddy hill. Sadly, the farmers are only paid forty cents (.40) per one hundred bananas. Life here is very hard.
Thank you for your support over the years. We are deeply grateful for your faithfulness. We pray for everyone of you that the Lord will multiply your finances, bless your work, and heal and keep you in good health. The fields are white unto harvest. Together with you we are sowing the Word and bringing souls into the kingdom of God.
PLEASE KEEP OUR MISSIONARIES IN YOUR PRAYERS

We are so grateful to the Lord for your faithful commitment to the ministry that Evangelism Alive has continued. Thank you for your support, even when you have not heard from us. We are happy to report that there has been substantial growth, and we have been working hard and are excited to be in God’s Harvest Field.
ORPHANAGE IS THRIVING...
The orphanage we sponsor is considered one of the best in Colombia; the government sends representatives to it to see how it is run as it sets the standard for the whole country. We are currently raising funds for and constructing rooms for the guests who come to help us so that our children do not have to be displaced when volunteers arrive. This project will be a great blessing to the many who are called to serve at the orphanage.
There are several new churches that have been planted, but there is one that we want to highlight. Fernando Rojas, our pastor who oversees and visits our indigenous churches in a very volatile area of Colombia, is also pioneering a church in the most dangerous area near Medellin. He has a special love for those who are difficult to reach, a gift of boldness, and God gives him much favor and protection. Please keep him in your prayers. The pastors of the indigenous churches have also planted several new churches as have several other pastors.
Thank you for your support and prayer for all of these ministries. We appreciate the fact that you have partnered with us, in Colombia and in Africa, so that those who need the Lord can receive God’s love through you. Hebrews 6:10 says: “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Many centuries ago, the LORD spoke through the prophet Isaiah and said, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” The reply from Isaiah in the second part of that verse continues in our own hearts today: “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8) Very often, like in Isaiah’s time, the call is a difficult one: to go to a people who hear but do not understand and who see but do not perceive. And yet, the call continues … some to send through prayers and financial blessing and others to literally GO!
In the words of Keith Green, we heed, “though there’s really not that much I can do…still my heart hears your call and I want to give it all to You.”
Thank you for heeding His voice and joining us in this faith journey to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations: to Haiti, to India, from Colombia to Zimbabwe, including our own nation. May he bring forth His righteousness among EVERY tongue and EVERY tribe and EVERY nation.
Thank you! The words seem too small to express our appreciation for your participation in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world, and caring for children. Exciting things are happening in the world today. I know the news tells of frightening things going on, but among God’s people around the world these are exciting times. Discipleship, church planting, caring for orphans, these are just a few of the things Hope missionaries and children’s programs are doing.
Again I want to say thank you. The words are small but the impact of your participation has been enormous.
May God bless you richly according to His Word!
A note from CJ Rich:
I've been thinking a lot this morning about life (and death). As many of you know, about 10 months ago, I had a severe stroke that nearly took my life. I returned last week from Trinidad and Suriname, South America. And, If Yeshua is willing, I miraculously leave for Italy and Germany on Sunday. If He is willing, I will also leave there around May 1st for a month in India. Perhaps Pakistan in the late summer/early fall. Many of you think this is "courageous" or "risky". What I think is risky is remaining in your (or my) same old same old humdrum life afraid to take a risk. Whether I live or die is not that important to me. The reason I'm not afraid of dying is I am already dead. I am (mostly) dead to myself and alive to Christ and His will. What IS important is that I live this life to the fullest, and to be as fully obedient to Him as I know how. I do not know what the future holds, but I KNOW WHO HOLDS THE FUTURE!
Would I make different choices if I could? Most certainly. So would you. But life is too short to be filled with "what-ifs" and "if-onlys".
My prayer for you and for me, my friend is that you are as fully obedient to His Call--a clarion call to live a holy, blameless life while fulfilling His purpose for you. For neither you nor I were created by accident.
Soapbox moment over....for now.
