Dear Family,

As your new Associate Pastor for Women, I wanted to share my heart with you. I can honestly tell you that the Lord has put it in my heart to serve this Church, especially the Pastors--anything I can do to lighten their load. To me it is not about the title, for it is the Lord that calls each of us to whatever He has ordained us to do. Last year the Lord began giving me prophecies through trusted women of God regarding ministry. In June He spoke by someone who has never been to our church that the Lord was going to use me in the leadership of my Church. Without telling Pastor Jeanette the prophecy within weeks she texted me that she had heard clearly from the Lord to make me an Associate Pastor for Women. What a confirmation!

Just as I felt a joy and excitement when the Lord dropped it in my heart to teach the Women’s Sunday School Class, I feel that same joy and excitement about this opportunity. I am looking forward to the opportunity of serving each of you. I will be at the Church on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.

In His service,

Ann Kaplan

Associate Pastor for Women

The Wonderful Ladies of Landmark

Greetings! My Name is Ann Kaplan. I have the privilege of serving as the Women's Ministry Leader of Landmark Church. As a way of introduction, here is a little about me. I became a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian at the age of seventeen. Jesus became and still is my Savior, Redeemer, Good Shepherd, and very best friend. I love the Word of God and also have the privilege of teaching the Women's Sunday School Class. I began attending Landmark Church in the early 90's and became a member in 1994. I was drawn to Landmark's wonderful worship services, their heart for missions, and their love for and preaching of God's Word. Though Landmark has experienced many changes over the past 20 plus years, the same Spirit and Presence of the Lord still rules and reigns in our Church. I am proud to be a member.

I am honored to serve as the leader of the Women's Council for the Women's Ministry. Serving with me are:

Lele Adams heads up gardening and crafts.
Dottie Brock offers pastoral care (prayer and spiritual counseling) as well as professional counseling for more in depth psychological issues.
Jackie Lewis heads our decor committee to keep our facilities and events looking nice. Sabrina Collins assists.
Michele Matthews coordinates our hospitality team to ensure meals are provided to members who are sick, have been hospitalized, or have lost a loved one.

Sheila Ramos, who leads our discipleship/mentorship classes.
Jeanne Banks, who heads our Phone Team, ensuring our women are reminded of various events.
Nina Nketiah, who heads our Social Events, ensuring we have regularly scheduled fun activities for fellowship among the women.

As Women's Ministry Leader, my desire is for our women to grow in Grace in the knowledge of the Lord and to form bonds of sisterhood that will sustain us through good times and bad.

The Lovely Ladies of Landmark meet for Sunday School every Sunday at 9:30am in the Godwin Hall.

Vision for the Women of Landmark:

  • That we value the confession the Lord has given Landmark--mainly the Presence of the Lord--for just one touch of His Presence can change any circumstance we face or give us the Grace to walk through it. His Presence truly is our greatest treasure.

  • That every woman be filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit and learn not only to pray in the Spirit but also to walk in the Spirit.

  • That every woman grows in Grace and in the knowledge of the Lord.

  • That the Word of God will produce much fruit in our lives.

  • That we form bonds of sisterhood that will allow us to serve each other and the community.

Phil. 2:13 “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
